THE FISHWEAR
FISH
The Christian fish symbol is known as the Ichthus, (iK'-thus), which is the Greek word for fish. It began as a silent password among Christians during times of persecution by the Roman government. If two strangers met and were unsure whether each was a Christian, one would draw an arc to represent one part of the fish. If the other person was a Christian they would draw the reverse arc forming the outline of a fish. That way both knew they were Christians and they could talk quietly about the lord. The bible is rich with references to the fish. Check out: Matthew 12:40, Mark 1:17 and Matthew 14.17 The Fishwear fish was created to lead people to Christ. To give Christians a subtle, classy way to witness. It's the only Christian wearable out there that doesn't scream "I'm a Christian and you are not!" That's not how Jesus witnessed, and it isn't how we should either. This product actually makes you walk your talk. Can you do it? How strong is your faith really? Are you ready for Fishwear? Today in America
we are free to openly speak about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So
wear your faith. And when you are asked about the logo, share your faith.
Tell them the story of persecution. Tell them about how the blue in the
logo stands for the fact that Jesus is the living water. Tell them how
those living waters have refreshed and renewed you. Wear it. Share it.
Lead someone to Christ while you can. |
